Returnables

The strength and savings of returnable packaging

Designs that endure, whether in nature or in business, are an intelligent blend of form and function. Returnable packaging shares many of the same objectives of expendable packaging —maximized part density, minimized damage and cost optimization at every step. But there are important differences.

Because it’s designed for multiple uses throughout rigorous operations and logistics systems — and it’s constructed of durable materials such as metal or plastic — returnable packaging provides added benefits throughout the supply chain:

  • Much greater savings

  • Better part protection

  • Lower costs per trip

  • More efficient storage, handling and distribution throughout

Bulk Containers, Totes and Sleeve Packs

We design interior dunnage for a wide variety of containers, including:

  • Bulk containers
  • Handheld totes
  • Sleeve packs

We use a wide variety of industry-standard materials to offer optimal part protection, greater density and lower costs. They include:

  • High-density polyethylene
  • Custom-developed materials
  • Fabric
  • Plastic corrugated
  • Foam

Our strategic relationships, with bulk container and handheld tote manufacturers in the US and Mexico, help us provide competitive pricing and greater availability.

Steel Racks for Shipping, Storage and Material Handling

Each rack we design is part-specific, maximizing the quantity per rack, while holding parts securely in transit. Our engineers work with industry-standard design software to explore all design possibilities and create the most cost-effective solution.

We have rack design, prototyping and fabricating capabilities in Mexico and strategic partnerships with steel fabricators in the US.

While we have broad experience in designing dunnage with many of the materials used in the racking industry, we are always looking for new materials to provide even greater cost efficiencies.
